Dr. Dickson was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. He attended the University of Utah where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He married his neighborhood sweetheart and became the proud father of 3 children . He has three wonderful grandchildren! In 2006 Dr. Dickson's wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. He helped care for her for 6 years before she passed away.

4 years later he remarried his wife, Heidi.

 

After graduating from Dental School, Dr. Dickson moved home and acquired a dental practice from a dentist that was retiring. He practiced in Cottonwood Heights for about 5 years before moving to his current location in Holladay.

Dr. Dickson has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years now and has enjoyed every minute. He also enjoys teaching part time at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. Dr. Dickson has a unique blend of experience and passion for his work. He loves getting to know his patients on a personal basis and is happy to  now see the grandchildren of some patients that have been with him since the beginning. He works hard to make the dental experience enjoyable and comfortable for all.

Dr. Dickson has traveled  to Central America several times to perform humanitarian dental services for the wonderful people there.

Dr. Dickson enjoys making music with his wife. He plays the French Horn and she plays the Violin and Viola. Together they  play in many of the local orchestras and community musicals. He also enjoys traveling with his wife and, of course, spending time with his grand kids and the rest of his family!
